As a Performer

Adi Paxton, best known as Cherry the Clown and Adi the Magician, has produced and appeared in clown shows, magic acts and children’s theatre, arts festivals and corporate shows throughout South Africa and internationally for clients ranging from Nelson Mandela to prisoners and scholars since 1986.

She is a freelance performer and voice artist for Lotus FM Drama and others and runs Cherryco, a performance and promotions company, for corporate and educational clients. Her work here involves scripting, designing, directing and prop making, as well as edutainment and puppetry.
